ONMOVE
Inspired by the traces of ballet movement, this series translates motion into structure. Taking cues from ergonomic forms, the design sculpts negative space and applies the fluidity of draping to metal, allowing form to follow the body intuitively.
Movement Weaves Form
Through a self-initiated movement study, I placed LED strip lights on dancer Vian’s body as she improvised to different music. The luminous traces revealed lines and volumes shaped by emotion and gesture, inspiring me to explore how jewelry could attach to the body in unconventional ways and create space and architecture around it.
