I’m Ping Lee, a Paris-based jewelry and leather goods designer. I began my career in Taiwan as an industrial designer focused on wearable technology. After relocating to Paris, I completed a Master’s in Accessory Design at Institut Français de la Mode and designed leather goods and jewelry for Hermès, Nina Ricci, and Oscar de la Renta, experiences that shaped my practice through craftsmanship, material exploration, and attention to detail in luxury design.
My work sits at the intersection of industrial design and fashion. I combine innovation, problem-solving, and 3D thinking with material knowledge and pattern-making to create accessories that balance novelty, functionality, and elegance.
At the core of my process is the dialogue between form, material, and the body. I am particularly interested in how objects interact with movement and everyday gestures, designing pieces that are both refined and practical.
Alongside my work with established houses, I collaborate with emerging luxury brands, supporting the development of handbags, small leather goods, and jewelry collections from concept to prototype in close collaboration with international suppliers.
Today, I work as a freelance designer while also developing pieces for my own jewelry label, PL33, exploring personal narratives through sculptural forms and material experimentation.
If you feel inspired to create something together, whether a bespoke piece or a collaborative project, I'd love to hear from you!
